Should I sell Now Or Wait?

If you’re a homeowner in 2025, there’s a good chance this thought has crossed your mind:
“Should I sell now, or wait?”

You’re not alone. I’ve had this exact conversation with countless clients lately—some who bought just a few years ago, others who’ve been in their homes for decades. And guess what? They’re all asking the same thing:
“Is this still a good time to sell?”

Let’s take a deep breath together, because this market—like our lives—doesn’t run on perfect timing. It runs on real circumstances, real goals, and real people making real decisions.

Here’s what I tell my sellers:

  • Equity is power. Many homeowners are sitting on more equity than they realize. That equity can help you level up, downsize, relocate, or reset—depending on what season you’re in.

  • Buyers haven’t disappeared. Despite interest rate headlines, motivated buyers are still out there. People still need homes due to job changes, family growth, or lifestyle shifts—and they’re willing to move for the right home.

  • There’s no “perfect” market. In 2021, people said prices were too high. In 2023, it was rates. In 2025, it’s uncertainty. But people keep moving, because life keeps moving. Waiting for the “perfect” market might mean missing the perfect window for you.

Selling a home is never just a transaction. It’s a decision rooted in stories, timelines, and next chapters.

So, should you sell in 2025?
My answer is:
Only if it serves your life, your family, and your future.
Let’s talk about what that could look like.
